Civil Design Team (CDT) is a small consulting firm that provides Land Planning, Civil Design, and Engineering in a collaborative and partnered environment directed to land development of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. 

Civil Design Team has projects located within Colorado in Pagosa Springs, Archuleta County, La Plata County, Leadville, City and County of Broomfield, Superior, Windsor, Westminster, and Dacono.

Civil Engineering and Site Planning services emphasizes aesthetic and innovative engineering solutions with specialties in creative land development design, drainage, hydrology and hydraulic design, site grading, roadway design and utility layout (water/sewer). 

Our site planning includes technical site plans incorporating architectural product, topology, drainage, roadway design, utility design, view and wildlife corridors. 

Our design process helps create living space and community.

Land Survey services specialize in engineering design surveys including right-of-way and easement.   

CDT CAD Design provides CADD design services to designers and engineers.  With remote office capabilities, outsource CADD is a cost effective alternative for firms that require dependable resources without the expense of increasing in-house staff to service Clients. 

CDT operates an in-house computer network of engineering and CAD workstations using a wide variety of engineering software programs.  Computer facilities and staff training recognizes our capability as a means of expediting our engineering design and production processes, as well as increasing quality control for our projects.  

Our computer capabilities allow us to explore design alternatives and define preliminary concepts for optimal design solutions within a project schedule. We excel in the use of AutoCAD (Land Desktop Development/Civil3D) design tool.  We use an HP lh3000 network server and Color HP DesignJet 1050 plotter for hi-output color graphics and engineering production drawings.  Other software applications include Raster Design and Adobe imaging software for graphic manipulation of raster image overlays, such as site aerials, scanned images, and design renderings.  Specialty software includes:  HEC-Ras (floodplain modeling), AutoTurn (customize traffic turning template modeling), water distribution modeling, storm drainage modeling for hydrology/hydraulics, and others.

CDT has been using WEB Conferencing for real-time, inter-office collaboration over internet connections for the last four years.  This time-saving tool is used for solving “spur of the moment” design issues that involve multi-office collaboration and a need to reduce travel expenses for the Client.
